Business Administration

Applied Bachelor Business Administration at Bandung State Polytechnic provides high-quality vocational education in the field of Business Administration. Our curriculum is aligned with the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) to ensure that graduates can meet the needs of the business world and industry appropriately. The main strengths of our program include the integration of modern information technology and a strong emphasis on English language proficiency, which prepares students for success in the global marketplace.

Module Handbook

The Applied Bachelor Business Administration curriculum is designed to ensure that students achieve the Programme Learning Outcomes through a structured combination of national compulsory courses, institutional courses, study programme courses, project-based learning, internship/apprenticeship, and final project activities.

Detailed information on each module is provided in the Module Handbook. The handbook includes module codes, module names, semester placement, credits in SKS and ECTS, student workload, teaching and learning methods, assessment methods, module coordinators, learning outcomes, syllabus descriptions, and core references.

The Module Handbook is provided as an official academic reference for prospective students, current students, lecturers, external partners, and accreditation reviewers.

Module Handbook – Applied Bachelor Business Administration

Teaching and Assessment

Learning activities are designed to fulfill the required credits and include various methods such as lectures, practicums, practice, tutorials, and research. Additionally, undergraduate students in the four-year degree program are required to complete mandatory internships and a final project.

Student learning assessment is conducted periodically, at minimum through a Mid-Semester Evaluation (ETS) and an End of Semester Evaluation (EAS). In addition to these main exams, continuous assessment methods are used throughout the semester. These methods include independent assignments, group assignments, quizzes, practicum exams, oral presentations, and roleplaying.

Manual Typing Laboratory

The Manual Typing Laboratory is dedicated to improving students' accuracy, discipline, and speed in ten-finger typing. Through structured typing exercises, students develop professional keyboarding skills essential for administrative and clerical efficiency in business settings.

Electronic Filing System (EFS) Laboratory

The EFS (Electronic Filing System) Laboratory provides students with practical experience in managing and organizing digital archives. Students learn how to store, retrieve, and maintain electronic documents efficiently, simulating real-world digital in modern record management practices administrative environments.

Business Simulation Laboratory

The Business Simulation Laboratory is designed for students to engage in hands-on role-play activities that simulate real-world business operations. Students take on roles such as suppliers, distributors, purchase officers, and bank staff. They practice creating and managing various business documents, including offer letters, invoices, bank guarantees, delivery notes, and other transaction-related paperwork. 

Office Laboratory

The Office Laboratory introduces students to various office equipment and tools commonly used in business environments. Students learn to operate devices such as printers, scanners, computers, manual filing systems, PABX telephones, and other office apparatus. This laboratory provides a realistic office setting where students can practice administrative procedures and document management.

Business Laboratory

The Business Laboratory serves as a practical training space where students manage and operate retail and café businesses. Activities include working as cashiers, merchandisers, and store managers, as well as managing inventory and store operations. Students also gain hands-on experience running a café, covering every business aspect from purchasing materials, producing and marketing products, selling, maintaining cleanliness, recording sales, and handling other business processes.
